A leading Dubai children’s hospital is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist to join its expanding paediatric subspecialty team. About the Role

The successful candidate will provide specialist outpatient and inpatient consultation for the full range of paediatric endocrine disorders, collaborate closely with paediatric surgery, genetics, and nutrition teams, and contribute to departmental training and clinical governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage the full spectrum of paediatric endocrine conditions including Type 1 diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid disease, adrenal conditions, and pubertal disorders
• Conduct structured diabetes education clinics and manage insulin pump therapy programmes
• Provide inpatient consultation for complex neonatal and paediatric endocrine emergencies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with paediatric surgery, genetics, and dietetics
• Oversee and interpret hormone and metabolic laboratory investigations
• Contribute to departmental audit, quality improvement, and clinical governance
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, residents, and paediatric fellows
• Engage in academic activities including case presentations and continued medical education

Requirements & Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution
• Paediatric postgraduate qualification (MRCPCH, FAAP, or equivalent) with subspecialty training in Paediatric Endocrinology
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification clinical experience, including at least 3 years at Consultant level in Paediatric Endocrinology
• Valid DHA license or documented eligibility for DHA Consultant-grade registration
• Fellowship or subspecialty certification in Paediatric Endocrinology from a recognised body
• Experience managing paediatric insulin pump (CSII) programmes is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity for managing an international patient population
• Clean professional record with no restrictions on clinical practice
