Norway: licensing exam preparation
Health personnel educated outside the EU/EEA apply to the Norwegian Directorate of Health for authorisation. After assessment of the education, doctors, dentists and nurses must meet additional requirements: Norwegian language test B2, a course in national subjects, a medication handling course with test and a qualifying exam (practical, oral and written). The doctors' exam is held at the University of Oslo, the nurses' exam at the University of South-Eastern Norway. Requirements must be completed within three years, with up to three attempts each.
