A prestigious Dubai private hospital with a dedicated Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine Centre is seeking a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon of international calibre. The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art operating theatres, a dedicated recovery suite, and an experienced aesthetic nursing team, serving an affluent and discerning clientele.

About the Role

This role encompasses both complex reconstructive surgery and high-volume aesthetic procedures. The successful candidate will bring expertise in microsurgery, breast reconstruction, and facial aesthetic surgery, and will have the opportunity to develop a premium private practice within the hospital’s established referral network.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex reconstructive procedures including flap reconstruction post-mastectomy, head and neck reconstruction, burn contracture releases, and trauma reconstruction
• Undertake the full range of aesthetic surgical procedures including rhinoplasty, rhytidectomy, blepharoplasty, abdominoplasty, and liposuction
• Perform breast augmentation, reduction mammaplasty, mastopexy, and revisional breast surgery
• Carry out non-surgical aesthetic treatments including toxin injections, dermal fillers, and laser procedures
• Provide pre-operative consultations with detailed photographic documentation and informed consent
• Liaise with oncological surgery, ENT, and maxillofacial teams for reconstructive cases
• Participate in morbidity review, clinical governance, and departmental quality assurance
• Mentor and supervise plastic surgery registrars and aesthetic nursing staff

Requirements & Qualifications

• Medical degree with full postgraduate specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
• Fellowship or Consultant-grade certification (FRCS Plast, FACS Plastic Surgery, Arab Board, or equivalent)
• Minimum 8 years post-specialist experience at Consultant level in plastic and reconstructive surgery
• DHA Consultant-grade eligibility or existing DHA Plastic Surgeon license
• Documented competency in microsurgical reconstruction and a broad aesthetic surgical repertoire
• Strong portfolio of complex reconstructive and cosmetic cases
• Experience in a high-volume, private-practice aesthetic surgical environment
• Excellent patient-facing skills with high standards of pre and post-operative care
