A major tertiary hospital in Dubai is seeking a DHA-licensed Consultant Radiologist to lead its Diagnostic Imaging Department. The facility operates 3T MRI, 256-slice CT, digital fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, PET-CT, and a full PACS/RIS platform.

About the Role

This senior consultant role provides the opportunity to lead a high-volume, multidisciplinary diagnostic radiology service, report across all modalities, and contribute to interventional radiology and subspecialty development.

Key Responsibilities

• Report CT, MRI, plain radiograph, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine studies across all clinical specialties
• Perform and supervise interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drains, vascular access, and embolisation
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards, surgical planning MDTs, and case conferences
• Supervise and train junior radiologists, registrars, and radiographers
• Develop subspecialty reporting in neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, body, or breast radiology
• Contribute to quality assurance, radiation safety, and clinical governance

Requirements & Qualifications

• Medical degree with full postgraduate training in Diagnostic Radiology
• Consultant qualification (FRCR, EBIR, Arab Board Radiology, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years post-consultant experience in a hospital radiology department
• DHA Consultant-grade eligibility or existing DHA Radiology license
• Broad competency across CT, MRI, and ultrasound reporting
• Interventional radiology and subspecialty reporting expertise are highly desirable
